Bruce, take care and be safe! It's amazing that you are working on the
conference during a flood - we appreciate it!

Danmark er dejligt!
Denmark is delightful!
This listserve message is the third in a series of threads in
anticipation of the 2009 CPTSC annual meeting. It is intended to prompt
a brainstorm and discussion on the listserve of further ideas.
3. Obtaining a U.S. passport
This Saturday, 28 March is Passport Day in the USA, when you can obtain
a passport on the spot at a passport processing center. See
<http://www.state.gov/r/pa/prs/ps/2009/03/120707.htm> for details.
After Saturday, please see the State Department Website
<http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html> for guidance on
how to obtain a U.S. passport. Passports not issued on Passport Day
usually take 4-6 weeks to process.
Denmark does not require a visa of U.S. citizens.
Please excuse the lack of detail of this CPTSC 2009 update. Your North
Dakota State U colleagues have been sandbagging and dike-building since
Monday, including till late last night. 10 minutes after my wife and I
woke this morning, the announcement came that the Fargo neighborhood 5
blocks east of us is evacuating because of a breach in the dike. We
immediately finished packing the car, capping the drains to the sewer,
and moving upstairs the last items from the basement. We'll now walk to
the dike to help fill the breach. The neighborhoods across the river in
Moorhead, including Minnesota State University-Moorhead and Concordia
College, have been evacuating since last evening.
